If you really want good one then should get the headphones that cost few hundred bucks. Good earphones tend to be 80 to 90 dollars. Headphones will be better but bulkier. Also, you may want to consider those noise cancellation ones if you use it during travel all the time. I have a Sony earphone that is very good (with large drivers) but it is not those earbud type and hence it sounds mediocre in a noisy environment; but performs excellently well (much better than those earbud ones) in the quiet environment. You should check the specification. That is high sensitivity and wide bandwidth (meaning the difference between the lowest frequency and highest frequency sound the earphone can produce). Some earphones are designed for amplifying the bass (lower frequency) and hence the bandwidth is smaller and not able to play the treble (high frequency) well.

Hi, there are numerous ways to transfer music from the ipod to computer, through various 3rd party programs, many of them free. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=547223zong wrote:i found the ipod quality not bad tho, owned a second hand one for a few weeks then sold off because it requires a backup of music on my computer instead of being able to fully transfer all the music in there.
I like the versatlity of the ipod because the OS can be hacked extensively, unlike many of the other brands. U can even install linux on the ipod, run apps, play games etc etc. Though this may void. the warranty, most pple I've ask, no one really cares. Visit : http://www.ipodhacks.com/
But if u want SQ, go iriver
