The OTA alone is around $850 (current price) already.
Vince : How big is the dew heater? If it can take 8" diameter, I'm interested to discuss a deal!
Hi Rich....

I don't think it can take an 8" diameter...maybe 4" scope can still manage.

BTW, I have decided to throw in a like-new 1.25" Celestron Diagonal as well. This way you can start observing with the scope right out of the box!

And since this week is Lelong sale week, anyone who buy this package this week gets a $50 off...so the price is $900 only. After this week, I will consider all offers from Astromart.

the normal megrez is not an APO, but this one is.

This is the second 80mm ED I have came across. Very good scope for the money. I sold off my previous one around 800 ++ with just the OTA and rings. This one has far more other stuff.

I put it low price because I want someone from Spore to benefit from these scopes. That's the best way I think I can contribute. Selling in Astromart is not an issue, but if someone can benefit here, that's better.

Scopes like the 80mm ED require very little maintenance, gives extremely good images and best of all, you are not going to feel heart pain even if your dog sleep on it. I bet you will kill your dog if he sleeps on your AP or Tak!

Hope someone will get this and appreciate the value he is getting.

I know what you mean, i am trying to sell my mewlon 210 hoping someone will keep the scope locally instead of hiving it abroad - but the response is simply weak , i decided to keep it for some local star parties. :D

Similarly, i bought Charlie FLT-110 too for the same reason, some scopes should just stay in Singapore. :D

 sorry off topic - hope you don't mind...just supporting your point

Dude, you need to seek an asylum. Either that or you hate money.

And if no one here buy this scope from you, then I think most people here should go for some therapy.

BTW, I already have this scope. And I will never sell it at your price. I have the AP Stowaway 92 but I use this scope more than the AP. View-wise they are about the same. Cost-wise they are sky and ground.

i actually used this scope in a birding session at sungei buloh, and not at a astro observation ( strange but true, good refractors are great tele-lens ). a 600mm f8 SD tele-lens will cost at least $2000.

actually that's what this scope is used for. Unfortunately its original owner didn't have time for bird watching now.

Ok guys, just a little update.

Someone came to view the scope just now, but didn't confirm whether he is buying or not.

I have an offer from a guy in Europe (I had the ad in Astromart), so if no one is buying this, I will be shipping it to Europe. So if anyone wants this, please let me know quick.

Thanks
