And richard...the impromtu tv nagler and pentax xw7 "2 skretches" test came out that the nagler is just a tad sharper then the pentax.

Just hope that the capacitor inside the tourch won't overcharge and explode... will be quite untidy if something blowoff from the tourch... ha ha ha

I feel that those Celestron Plössl and Kellner eyepiece gave those high-end eyepieces a run for their money...

That (those expensive high ends) is the price to pay for having well corrected wide field and longer eye relief.

If you observe through the Nagler without spectacles (the eye relief is 12mm), you will notice that the field is wider than what the eye can take in. If the eye guard is fold down, spectacles can be used and gives about 50 to 60 degree AFOV. Hence it gives the 'space walk' kind of feeling which means it is like not looking through an eyepiece because the field stop is so wide that it requires moving the head slightly to see the field stop. Actually after getting accustomed to ultra wide (82 degree AFOV), looking through Plossls feels very narrow; it is even narrower on the orthos. Hey but I just got the orthos from Richard. I think I need to get used to such narrow views but I got it mainly because it gives a neutral colour (looks nicer on the moon/ Saturn rings due to a whiter and blacker image).

The 7NT6 may seem slightly sharper (this is very subtle) than the 7XW but I saw the same amount of detail in both. For viewing DSOs, I would still prefer the 7XW for better contrast, better eye-relief, and a distortion-free field. The 70 deg gives me a more-than-satisfactory wide field.
