Hmm... will easily reach US$5000 if include a good mount.

Hmm... If I got that amount of money to buy a telescope, I think I'll just get a 10" Teleport. ha ha ha :-P :-P

Have a nice day.

With that kind of $$, I'll probably get a 25" Dob (http://www.astromart.com/classifieds/de ... _id=312673) or a 20" Obsession (http://www.astromart.com/classifieds/de ... _id=283246) or a 14.5" StarMaster. The thing is, some people believe aperture (even a quality one) is not everything, and we need to respect them :-)

cheers,
Arief

can't understand the queue. most of the OTA casing and precision components are easy to manufacture. The only item I can imagine that would take that long is probably the optics figuring. I get the impression they sub-contract 1 lone qualified guy in China sitting in some slum area grinding the glass while watching soap operas all day.
And he grinds one set per month which explains the waiting time....?
Final question is will the view be worth the money and waiting?
