Probable Mersing Observation Trip on 17th March 2007

sorry, just came back from Malaysia and miss the discussion over the weekend (last night was very clear!!). I will do some observation here in Singapore instead. Thanks for organising this trip and wish us all clear skies!!

- Ian - full
- Deepakrn - 1 opening, no equipment space.
- Yang Beng - full
- Gavin's Friend - ??
- Cataclysm & going with friend - ??
- VinSnr - undecided, help needed to bring more people there.

River, Branzzz, Jia Hao and friend are still looking for a ride.

well looks like no space for me and my nexstar. i'll wait till the day itself and see if space comes up, if not its okay.

Hi branzzz,

You can hitch a ride on deepakrn's car, he said there is some space in the back of the car and I think the Nexstar 4 should be small enough to fit in there. You deserve a chance to test your new scope under dark skies.

I will only go if I can find two spaces for me and my friend.

Its ok, Ian. I understand, and unless your personal matter is resolved, I recommend that you should stay here.

Anyway, for those currently without transport, I just manage to arrange another vehicle, a 7-seater MPV. This will cost $350 which will be paid equally among all 7 (or less) passengers. Pick-up point will be at Kranji MRT this Saturday 17 March 2007 at 2pm. I need to confirm this MPV by end of today, so can those without transport please confirm here or contact me. Thanks.

Note: there won't be much space to bring BIG equipment, so it looks like the eleven incher will not be going.

Just to update all: due to poor response, the MPV has been cancelled last night. Any driver who can has transport space can contact Clement, Branzzz and Jiahao (or me too!).
