Hi all,
Here is an unfinished work-in-progress mosaic of Eta Carinae (again!...hehe).
This is a 7 panel mosaic totalling 8 hours of exposures in hydrogen alpha...more to come, less noise, more stacking!
UPDATE (29th March 2007):
Here is an inverted version together with a listing of objects in the region.

Nice Remus. You captured that beautiful open cluster at the top right corner too...is that IC2602?

Nice! You are really putting the camera to good use!

Hi Richard and rest,
Yes managed to capture the cluster. It is NGC3293 (sometimes known as the Gem Cluster), and is about 1000 LY nearer to us than Eta Carinae. Infact, the neighbouring regions have quite a few interesting targets to image. So many objects, so like clear sky time!

Thanks Remus. I rechecked and spotted NGC3293 in my star atlas. I had looked at the image upside down!
ps have edited your image so that it can be displayed now..
