This TMB looks beautiful and the price is also reasonable!!

On a closer look, it looks like the tube might have come from the Far East. It looks like the Skywatcher Equinox series, AstroTech, Baader scopes.
Maybe the tube is from the Far East but the lens is from TMB (Triplet lens!!) thats why the price can be that low.
I got some urge to sell my Megrez Fluorite Doublet 80mm to get this scope!!

Hmm, perhaps for planets, the triplet will have better contrast. For deep sky objects, the doublet will give brighter images.

one thing about triplets, with its strong internal steep element curves, they are more sensitive to temperature variations and internal alignment. A little off alignment and you will have comatic results. It is hence important to realise that the optical lens cell that houses these triplets are well designed together with spacers and rings that are strategically placed and (designed) so maintain good alignment and manage changing temperature gradients.
Hmmm, the TMB 130 is mentioned to be made with a temperature compensated lens cell but the TMB 80 wasn't mentioned to be made of that. Better ask TMB himself.
