Then maybe they can provide entertainment for us while the sky is cloudy.. heh.. nowadays people are more 'open'.

The other weekend while I was in Dempsey at our usual place, when this car stopped just on the other side of the road and ignored me and my photographic equipment. I had difficulty concentrating on my imaging amidst the sounds coming from the female (even though the windows were up and the car engine was running).

wah...they more daring now! They used to arrive, see us there and then drive on. You mean nowadays they not scared you walk over and shine torch light??
I had a friend many years back who told me she and her JC friends would go to east coast park to shine torchlight into parked cars. They had free shows and the couples had a shock! That was naughty of them but kids...nothing they do is logical! I hope she is still not doing it now since she is married with kids...heh heh

Actually, if I have a night vision goggle I would be tempted to point it at the car. However, with my setup, I will only see magnified sweat pores if I do that! Heh..

(Is your friend the lady I saw in East Coast park running around with two kids and shining her torchlight into other cars parked there? lol)

Well... Afterall, I thought that Upper Seletar Reservoir would be one of the ideal places for obs... there may be better places though.

Went there a few times with friends just to observe the sky and sometimes with telescope... The carpark there is full of lots and is just about 50 meters away to the big grass patch... Trees around are blocking some of the lights...

Cool!

Anyway, do they practice torch shining in USR carpark?? :P

Thanks to Clifford for clarifying the abbreviations.
Would like to advise everyone to refrain from using abbreviations unless it has been explained in the SAME post to avoid confusion because this forum is read by both Singaporeans and international visitors. Also please refrain from you SMS/texting lingo as well.
Thanks
