I just looked it up, the time was May 31st, 21:34, so it was Io's shadow. It's nice that you catch one of the moons' shadow for the first time, especially for hand-holding camera method! Try get a webcam to take stacked images, you will be surprised, just as Tachyon mention above!

Is that single pic or Stacked?
Is that the shadow of the Jupiter's Moon??
it is single exposured set at ISO 400. :) :) :) with compact digital camera mount on a fixed tripod point and shoot method.
Yes it was the Jupiter moon's shadow noticed it very close to the jupiter's limb, decided to wait little longer and captured it. :).
Will try to underexpose it next time..... :P :P and also try too use the web camera..but the only problem is my tracking....I am lousy at it.....  and also my focusing....  .Btw thankyou too all of you guys with the useful comment. :) :) :).

Hi Amin, those are really nice first attempt shots.
Just like what other had mentioned, try a webcam, it's really addicting =D.

I did my early astrophoto by hand holding my bro's Mavica FD73 (floppy disc), tried the Toucam and never looked back <G>.
