actually.. i book the Sports Complex for overnight.. but for what i see.. there is not much people who can stay overnight.. so i change it to until 12am... but if those who wanna stay overnight u still can do so..

i receive some complaints that i didnt state early that it is an overnight event.. so i change it to a night event.. so now.. either way, i also get complained...

if there are ppl who are keen to stay overnight, i am glad to stay overnight too.. coz i am ready to stay overnight there

hi leslie,
mmm...most inconvenient ...so this means those who don't drive will have to leave by 11pm to catch the bus and would not be able to catch the virgo clusters at zenith.....
in anycase, how late will your event be then? I'm attending a wedding dinner on that night and thought of dropping by for an hour or 2 after that with a colleague..

rich.. if u are keen to stay overnight, we can do so..

but if people want to leave early, they can feel free to do so...

ah...i see...
don't worry about too may differing views or you will go crazy!
its good that you took the effort to organise this. all big events starts with a small step...maybe by next year you can organise a full scale Saturn watch 05 !

I will be tired after the wedding dinner and my colleague probably will not last past 1 am but I'm hoping that there will still be telescopes to see there when we get there! Hope to be able to see the Nexstar 8 in action ..
I only hope my friends do not have "part 2" activities for the groom....then I'll be stuck in the "nao dong fang" sessions

Dear Leslie

As I have mentioned in my pm, I may be prepared to stay on with my telescope if the weather is good and there is a good response from the people to stay on.

Nevertheless, we know that you are bringing your scope and you are prepared to stay over, hence, I suggest that it would not be too critical in organising this event to figure out who is staying over or how many scopes there will be after midnight...

Perhaps you can play by ear and respond accordingly. Since there are people who said they are coming later or are prepared to stay over, then maybe you can consider to extend the event as you have planned. In the worst case scenario, you can still continue the event even if there is only one or two scopes.

regards
