Stargazing @ Chinese Garden

Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.

hope there will no clouds too!!!!!!!! otherwise mag 0 also cannot see! maybe a glow behind the clouds only...haha..*cross fingers*

oh, another tip..you can set up the scope to see either to the east, or to the west..cause there are 2 concrete platforms there...howevef the scope facing the east turns to face the west, it'll soak in the lights from the lampposts..and vice versa..so either east or west..haha..

if weather is good i'll definitely go!

I just left the science centre and currently the sky has black clouds accumulated towards the west, but blue skies toward the east... thats why.

Yes it was a good chit chat session. Weather wasn't so good but at least we saw Saturn and splitted some double stars. Hopefully the first timers enjoyed themselves!

So how's over in the east?

Sorry, overseas now... so were the lights in Singapore turned off for one hour?

yeah..quite a lot of ppl went! and finally had the chance to associate the nicks and names to the faces
