Orion Widefield

Post by cataclysm »

Hi all, took this single shot of the Orion constellation last evening. It's a no frills shot, just with tripod, standard walk around lens & Canon 30D. The annoying amber sky was very effectively surpressed with Hutech IDAS LPS filter mounted on the front of the camera lens.

Hi,
Very nice... IDAS was really good, but very expensive.

How much did you pay for it and where did you get it from?? Will want to get one if got budget.

Have a nice day.

Bought directly from Hutech. Not cheap, about 280USD for the 67mm. If I would to buy all over again, will get the in-camera front filter type, cost just as much, but you will have the flexibility to use it on any ota and most lenses. [smilie=info.gif]
