Hi,All
At last, sunspot 1040 rotates into the other side of the sun and give us a blank sun for a while; but it seems that there is no let go as sunspot 1039--a old one---is coming into view again.(since Dec 19 last year--no blank sun!)Interesting.
By the way,I had uploaded those solar photo into my blog as proof! Thanks.

Hi,All solar observer
Even before 1040 sunspot's prominences disappeared below the sun's horizon, sunspot 1039 come into view again around 5:30pm this evening and give a v.good display of prominences and a white hot upgoing gaseous spot that I suspect is a solar flare.Pic taken.Really the sun is getting more ad more active and interesting. If you have the proper equip.;take a look.Thanks.

Hi,All solar observer
After yesterday Good view, sunspot 1039/1041 is showing more of itself but activities dying down--at least this morning. On the other hand 1040 tail is still giving us a good display of prominences at the other edge of the sun.Do take a look.
Thanks for the comment Konata 1550.A good start to solar obs is the PST.However one aspect of it you must know.--Besides not looking at the sun directly; those filters are expensive and also degenerates with time.e.g my blocking filter had degenerated--dreaded rusted--and had to be sent back if they recognise the gurentte--otherwise I have to spent another $600+ on a new one!
However the sun is one of the few astro-object that show changes within our lifetime. That make it worthwhile. Thanks

Hi,All solar observer
Sunspot 1041 is dying fast.Yesterday it still show a spot, but today,it had disappeared and the sun is blank in white light. However in both Cak and Ha,the location of sunspot 1041 is still occupied by a brighter than normal patches;however compared to even previous day,its size is diminishing fast.;so if you have the scope,do take a look before everything disappears. It looks like the sun is going into its blank mode soon.
