Firstly, if this pic is in the wrong section, mods, please feel free to divert it.
During a chat with Croy on photography, I recalled an old pic I took when I was freelancing as a commercial photographer. I was on location at Mount Faber Cable Car station and awaiting arrival of some models when myself and the creative director was taken by the streaks of lightning over Sentosa. It wasn't raining over Sentosa, nor at Mount faber, but as you can see in the pic, Rain is falling in the background over Pulau Bukom. I was only armed with my Fuji S3 and with no tripod, decided to rest the DSLR on the balcony railing of Altivo and fire away exposures hoping to at least get one! The lightning streaks were on-going, 2-4 streaks within a 4-6 secs space. I recalled taking 20+ exposures and when I reviewed them, jumped for joy when I saw this particular image. Proceeded to off load it onto the Creative directors laptop and thats when he noticed the lightning striking something. With the wonders of a digital image, he zoomed in, and as you can see from the insert image, what it hit!
Well that was some time back....and I still have it till today on archive. Don't think about it much, but I love lightning and watching it streak. Gotta say, it's a keepsake.
So sharing this story and the image with you all,....especially for Croy!!! yes croy, Fuji Finepix S3 Pro...hehe!
Thanks for reading!!
