Oh yah, i dun have any equipment... haha~ so will try to spot it using naked eyes lor.
Hi Angeline,

Maybe if you have a bit of spare cash, I can recommend the $40 binoculars selling in Carrefour. It's light enough to bring along and provide you a great view of the comets and the sky. It might be worth the money unless you're planning to buy a better pair soon.

Clear skies,
Chris

neat is fading fast, you'll most likely need a bino to see it by the time of your trip, even with pretty dark sky. a small bino is not to much to bring. no need to bring a 10x50. good for looking at birds and stuff also.

Hi
Sorry but after one half hearted attempt to key in the data, I abandoned this
mode of entry. I suppose that since there is no decimal point on the keypad, it automatically inserts for you if you key in "235"?

Hi,
Why don't you just key in the coordinate of the comet in the AutoStar and GOTO.

Have a nice day.

Haiz, the ETX can only allow people to aim at the object then identify it's DEC n R.A. but sadly it does not allow people to key in the coordinates. My autostar has so little object in data base that bright star cluster NGC2175 in Orion is also not included.

Hi,

But I check the manual of the ETX-60AT, it said you can enter the object coordinate using the "object" -> "user objects"->"add" to add a user object coordinate(RA and DEC).

Have a nice day.

you should be able to key in the onject manually. I tried to do it but stopped as I was not familiar with the format required....
