jupiter problem

jupiter problem

C11HD + 2x
Mount:NEQ6
Caputer:QHY5 @50fps 80s
Process Soft: Registax

it seems the satellite of Jupiter not round enought. and i have no idea why is that so -0-

Its an 80s exposure. I would think that satellite is moving much faster than Jupiter is rotating? :)

will it be due to moving too fast? it shall not be the case.
it shall be any big issue, if with in 120s for shooting Jupiter

i guess it could relate with Optical Axis. any one come cross this issue before?

It could be an artifact from stacking. If you are experiencing excessive movements from frame to frame, stacking registration may focused on the main globe while missed out on the outer regions. Try stacking with fewer frames and see if this will go away. :P

Welcome to Singastro! Nice Jupiter. Can see the 2 "eyes" clearly. May I know when and where is this photo captured? C11HD....drools.... :)

i use single frame could observe similar situation on the satellite of the Jupiter
