CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
Hi,All
Thanks Davegn for posting the photos. The sun not really showing these days.Lack of flares etc.More
spotted sometimes however;like in the beginning of this month, almost the WHOLE sun spotted. In fact
,cycle 24 is now in its 4th year and in my personal opinion, the best show happens during the first
minicycle--i.e. during the 1st 6 month of 2010.Anyway still hoping for that big show during the solar max
with X class flare, hugh prominences etc. These photos shows the 2 most active spots at the beginning
of the 6th minicycle. Thanks for watching.

Sun on 26 Feb 13 - The Sun is expected to get more active in the days ahead. Today there were many prominences, including a huge one in the 2 O'clock direction.
