If you manage to repair the hook, you can also consider getting a stable camera tripod for your scope.

Just let either Dave or I know if you want to borrow a tripod. Between the two of us, I'd wager we have something like 9 tripods - both for photography and astronomy.

Ok, but do I have to pay if I borrow? I will repair my hook ASAP but as long as I can use it I am Ok with it, thank you

I went to look for dovetail but could not find any what fits my scope
