Skies had been cloudy/rainy for the past week so I had to test with marginally clear skies yesterday!
Sharing a section of the sun with the huge sunspot which was visible yesterday!
My second attempt at processing on the sun, any feedback/suggestions most welcome!

Imaged using:
ASI 120mm, Tak TSA-102, SF-70 filter.
I seem to be getting Newtonian rings on my images, and flats didn't seem to remove it fully--in fact it made it worse (!!) on some subs!
Any suggestions from the shifus here?

I've seen some possible remedies in... (a) getting some sort of a camera tilt adaptor (hardware solution), (b) trying some FFT to diminish the periodic lines... (had trouble finding a suitable filter on photoshop CS6... might try other editing software next time!)
