Without Goto, slo-mo is the next best. Mounted 25x100 bino on MF410jr and zero-ing is so simple, however end up with "blisters" on my fingers after prolong usage.
Hommel used a trick last time and that was to put rubber 'feet' (meant for round chair legs) over the knobs. They make turning easier and more comfortable.

I remember you its not as simple as loosening a screw. I think you mentioned previously you had to cut part of the spring off? If that's the case, then I will not try. Otherwise may explore your solution. Is the label easy to replace when removed. I do want my mount to look good as new!
